Before You Start

Will you just do my bookkeeping for me?

No—I teach you how to do it confidently. My packages focus on education, cleanup, and giving you the skills to maintain your own books.

If you want full-service bookkeeping (someone to do it for you every month), I can refer you to trusted bookkeepers in my network. But if you want to understand your books and feel confident maintaining them yourself, I'm your person.

How do I know which package I need?

Quick guide:

  • Just feeling uncertain? → QBO Confidence Checkpoint ($497)
  • Know things are wrong, need help fixing? → Books Rescue & Rebuild ($1,497)
  • Want ongoing support? → Bookkeeping Confidence Coaching ($497/month)

What if I have QuickBooks Desktop, not QuickBooks Online?

I only work with QuickBooks Online. The platforms are fundamentally different, and I've specialized in Online to give my clients the best possible expertise.

If you're using Desktop, I can refer you to someone who specializes in that platform.

Do you work with [specific industry]?

I work primarily with:

  • Service-based businesses (consultants, agencies, freelancers)
  • Contractors and construction trades
  • Creative professionals (designers, photographers, writers)
  • Professional services (lawyers, CPAs, coaches)

If you sell physical products, have inventory, or operate in restaurant/retail, I'll refer you to a specialist. Those industries have unique accounting needs.

I just started my business and only have 2-3 months of transactions. Should I wait?

Yes. Come back when you have at least 6 months of data. You need enough transaction history to see patterns before a file review makes sense.

In the meantime:

  • Watch QuickBooks tutorials on YouTube
  • Keep receipts organized
  • Track expenses in a spreadsheet

When you hit 6 months, then we can dive in.

About the Packages

What's the difference between Confidence Checkpoint and Rescue & Rebuild?

Think of it this way:

Confidence Checkpoint = Diagnosis + Roadmap

I show you what's wrong and give you step-by-step instructions to fix it yourself.

Rescue & Rebuild = Diagnosis + We Fix It Together

I show you what's wrong, then we spend 2 hours fixing critical issues together in real-time. You watch, you learn, you ask questions.

Choose Rescue & Rebuild if:

  • You're short on time
  • The mess is bigger than you realized
  • You learn better by watching someone do it first
  • Tax deadline is approaching

Can I upgrade later if I start with Confidence Checkpoint?

Absolutely. Upgrade to Books Rescue & Rebuild within 30 days and I'll credit the full $497.

So you'd only pay $1,000 more to upgrade.

How long does Coaching last?

3-month minimum, then month-to-month after that.

Most clients stay 9-12 months while building confidence, then either:

  • Graduate to quarterly check-ins
  • Cancel because they feel fully confident
  • Keep going because they love the peace of mind

You're in control. Cancel anytime after month 3.

Working Together

How quickly can we start?

For one-time packages:

  • Usually 5-7 business days
  • Rush service available (+$297 for 48-hour turnaround)

For Coaching:

  • Usually 2-3 weeks to onboard and schedule first session

What do you need from me to get started?

Three things:

  1. Completed questionnaire (15 minutes)
  2. Accountant user access to your QBO file (I'll show you how)
  3. Your top 3-5 questions (so I know what to focus on)

That's it. No passwords, no downloads, no complicated setup.

Will you see my bank account balances?

I'll see what's in QuickBooks Online—your transaction history and account registers. But I won't see your actual bank login or current live balances unless you connect me directly (which isn't necessary).

Think of it like this: I see the movie you've recorded in QuickBooks, not the live camera feed from your bank.

Can you talk to my CPA/tax preparer?

Absolutely. Many clients have me join their annual tax meeting to:

  • Walk the CPA through what we cleaned up
  • Answer questions about specific transactions
  • Explain the reports I've prepared

This is included in the Tax Prep Handoff Package ($697), or I can join as a one-time add-on for $197.

Money & Guarantees

Do you offer payment plans?

Not currently. All packages are paid in full upfront.

If budget is tight, start with Confidence Checkpoint ($497) and upgrade later if needed.

What's your refund policy?

For Books Rescue & Rebuild only:

If I can't find at least $1,500 worth of tax savings, efficiency improvements, or time savings, I'll refund 50% of your investment. No questions asked.

For other packages:

All sales final once we've started work. But if you're unhappy for any reason in the first 48 hours, let me know and we'll make it right.

Can I get a discount?

I don't discount because I price based on value, not time.

However:

  • Credit toward upgrades (Checkpoint → Rescue & Rebuild)
  • Referral bonus: $100 Amazon gift card when your referral books a package
